Porn star Mr. Marcus goes to jail for 30 days for not disclosing to film producers that he had Syphyilis last year.
It would seem that the porn industry would be riddled with STD’s, but they are serious about precautions. One case showed just how serious they are about those precautions.
Well known porn star Mr. Marcus, 42, whose real name is Jesse Spencer, has been sentenced to 30 days in prison for falsifying documents that proved he had syphilis last year. Apparently, these papers are required to show your overall health status before working on any films. But Spencer contends that he received a shot of penicillin from his doctor and he was told that he was not “contagious” even though he was diagnosed again for the disease eight days later.
Two women on the set discovered Marcus’ papers had been altered and turned him in immediately. Heather DeAngelo, who goes by Lylith LaVey in her porn films, is in the process of suing Spencer for “intentional infliction of emotional distress.”
Marcus will do a month in jail, 15 days of community labor, and three years of probation.
